We are so happy to have you choosing to shop with us. To keep you in the know and feeling bold with your new nails in the mail, we have to do some housekeeping.

We are going to be stricter with our policies and communication with our buyers.

It will be mandatory to read our policy BEFORE purchasing ANY of our products.

We will have our customer type out "I have read and understood the terms and policies" in the personalization section, and it is REQUIRED!

; If there is a hold in the tracking of your package, YOU have to CONTACT us BEFORE issuing a refund. (We DO NOT keep track of the information in your tracking number associated with your order). Etsy doesn't even manage replacements; you would NEED to buy a new set with the same personalization filled out, or if you want something different let us know!)

; After you place an order with us, we will contact you through ETSY messages to confirm the address you inputted. The time you answer may delay the time your package will be shipped from our facility. (A good percentage of lost packages are due to INCORRECT address)

; Melanated Paradise is NOT responsible for LOST, damaged, or stolen packages. We ship orders through USPS Priority Mail now! With the “Rush Ticket, orders will be shipped under 2 Day Priority Mail which is shorter. Melanated Paradise is responsible for making quality nails, but we aren’t responsible for packages being delayed in delivery. Delays in shipping are common and multiple factors play into it, weather, holidays and so many others. A solution is to be patient with USPS as they dispute packages but as time passed and there is no movement then we will issue a missing mail report with the tracking number of your order to USPS.

; NOW if you file for a refund after we file a missing package report and the product arrives to you undamaged, we will be expecting you to give us money back for the order. If not, the package is STOLEN inventory, and you will be reported and banned from our shop.

Patience is ENCOURAGED and APPRECIATE by us and we take our business very seriously. Melanated Paradise is run by ONE person. One person files the nails, one person ships them off, one person continuously replicates the SAME design on each nail, etc. So, we do try our best to ensure quality nails in every order. Any questions that you have in regard to your nails, take the initiative to ask questions about the product that you want before PURCHASING! That means any questions about charm weight, your nail sizes, color change request, nail lengths &, etc. Ask us any questions about ANYTHING we are happy to help!

In terms of product “not showing up how you expected”, refunds will NOT be issued. Refunds will be issued if the package is lost (NOT DELAYED, there is a difference), arrives damaged, or stolen, as stated before we are not responsible for them. Products that later become damaged due to exterior forces, will not be refunded. (Example; nails being snapped in half, nails with scratches on them, nails that have gems fall off, etc.)

We accept cancellations but we don’t accept returns. Cancellations need to be made via email or Esty messages within 24 hours and refunds will be issued.

Melanated Paradise is not held accountable for the misuse of nails and nail supplies which means any misuse of a cuticle pusher, nail file, or nail glue. These items are only used for nail prep and NAIL PREP ONLY!

Melanated Paradise ships packages within 2 days if orders are placed during the weekday and orders placed over the weekend will be shipped on Mondays. Rush Tickets do not change over the weekend orders.

Melanated Paradise doesn’t rush orders that don’t have rush tickets.
